1. Both mainstream political parties drive America into debt. Vote for independent candidates who will vote against budget increases and tax increases.
2. Both parties increase the size of the government. Vote for independent candidates who will vote against increasing the number of government employees and against any new programs that gives government money directly to others.
4. Both parties are for sale. The McCain-Feingold Act ensures that the party gets more money than the candidate. If the candidate wants to compete with others running for his seat, he must give his party what they want: party votes on key issues. Vote for independent candidates and get better congressional performance.
5. Both parties take extreme positions. Independent candidates will provide a clear, centrist voice in American politics. Vote for an independent candidate, they are tired of the extremisim in Congress.
Congressmen genrally vote a straight Republican, or Democrat agenda in Congress and there is no discussion about what the root problems are nor how the problems should be corrected. Independent candidates will thwart the control of Congress by either party and add another dimension to debate in Congress.
