1. Vote for the person you think should be President whether or not they are running for President.
2. Vote for candidates and parties that represent what you want for America.
I know that this is going to be difficult for you. You have been conditioned to vote either Republican or Democrat. More notably you have been conditioned to vote against the bad Democrats or the bad Republicans or the bad Libertarians or the bad Green Party. The propaganda is astounding in how the country will go to hell if the wrong person is elected President. (Psssst, I have news for you. The country is already in trouble because you voted for Republicans or you voted for Democrats.)
The top five parties in the US that field candidates in federal and local elections are: Republican, Democrat, Constitution, Libertarian, and Green. You can go HERE to read about them as well as read about several other parties that have waxed and waned in the past 50 years or so.
Here are the candidates of the top five parties in alphabetical order. Click on the party names to go to their web sites.
Constitution: Pres: Charles Baldwin…. VP: Darrell Castle
Democrat: Pres: Barack Obama …..VP: Joe Biden
Green: Pres: Cynthia McKinney….VP: Rosa Clemente
Libertarian: Pres: Bob Barr…. VP: Wayne Root
Republican: Pres: John McCain…. VP: Sarah Palin
Please take the time to look at their websites and read the party platforms. They have information about their candidates.. I encourage you to decide which candidate and which party for this election are most in line with your ideas on what America needs. Then vote for that person whether or not they are on your ballot. Your election judges can tell you how to write in a name if the person is not on your ballot.
And if you don’t like any of the top five parties and their candidates, you can go HERE to learn who else is running for President. Perhaps one of them will be of interest to you.
Or perhaps you are the type of person that will exclusively choose the best person listed on the ballot in your state. In that case, you can go HERE to learn who is on your state’s ballot.
I am an advocate that you should vote for the candidate that most represents your views. That is what democracy is all about. Don’t let them scare you into voting Republican or Democrat with horror stories of what will happen if you don’t for their candidate. As you can clearly see, people have elected both Republicans and Democrats over the years and both parties are wrecking America through promises of change that never occur. And as bad as both parties have been, America is still standing. But she is not standing as tall, or as proud, as she once was. That is why I advocate for voting for someone other than a Republican or a Democrat.
Please join me in voting for the candidate of personal choice.
